Content Updates
Magazine Niche

With the progression of any enterprise we get more refined at how we do things.

When Yes, I Said it First started in 2006 the world was free reign for a sports columnist. However, there are now many blogs, magazines, and specific websites that are available to readers that all do very good jobs - it would not be smart for us to try to be experts in everything, and it certainly would not be done very well if we tried.

So going forward starting this August Yes, I Said it First is going to be primarily devoted to the four main areas that are already prominently listed on our home index page:

Business, History, Development and Competitiveness of North American Professional Sports, and Major College Sports

The main Weekly Article will not change much because in essence these are already the things we discuss every week.

The Time Vault Sports History Report will be enhanced and will undergo a face lift to make it more prominent. This Feature will be renamed Time Vault Sports History Warehouse so that it sits unique from other sports time capsule type of features that other networks produce.

A new feature Sports IQ Warehouse will be launched to concentrates on sports as a business - we will add interesting items periodically, and always paste links to sports business and competitiveness features from other sites. We will be able to better delve into hot issues in sports like: parity in pro and college sports, player unions, scheduling, franchise transfers, team and league management and player development. We will just be able to do it better than before.

This summer we have expanded our Preview Pages. NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB previews will be prominent. The NFL will be handicapped every week of the regular season just like always.

Many of these changes you will see starting this week...as well as cosmetic changes to the website to help you navigate it more easier.

Your comments and feedback are always welcome.
